Hi Nomad, I just purchased one of these radiators from Auto City Classics. I bought the polished V-8 version for $239 on sale. It looks very nice, but I haven't had a chance to install it yet, hopefully this weekend. Since my car is still down at the 'block the primer stage', I won't be able to give you any performance feedback, but if there is an issue with the fit, I'll be sure to let you know.

Regards,
John

oldgreen.....Ya know I believe that is a knee jerk reaction alot of times but then again I also know that the other folks like Griffin and PRC have had a good product that has been a bit overpriced for a long time........Thats the reason I'm asking "Has anybody tried em"

Thanks
Russell

Thanks John.....I did do a bit more looking and see where you and Bruces 57 had purchased one. Looks like Bruce has installed his so he is a bit ahead of us. It will be nice to hear what he has to say.

Thanks again
Russell

Hey Nomad,
I just noticed you are in Houston. My Nephew lives there and we are going down to visit them next weekend. Where exactly are you located? If we're real close, I'd love to stop by and check out your Nomad and talk Old Chevys for a few minutes. I'd tell you where he lives, but he just moved and I can't remember the new street name. He used to live on Swarthmore (if that helps), and his new place is pretty close to there.

Regards,
John

Hey John..I'm actually in a small community/town called Jersey Village. My g/f is encouraging me to go out of town with her the next two weekends. She bought a business in south Texas she wants to go check on it and then the following weekend she has a New Orleans trip planned.

Hey Nomad,
Not a problem. We visit my Nephew at least once or twice a year. If I think of it, next time we come down, I'll try to get in touch first. Whatever you do, make SURE you keep the g/f happy! Take care, John

I try my best to support "made in America" - but not at twice the price. I bought one of the radiators mentioned and have to say it is a great product. Installed without any issues - cools well - no leaks. Here's a couple of pictures. This is on my daily driver.
