I'm getting ready to install my overflow on the radiator. According to the instructions it be used either way, which way is better?

With a crossflow radiator you need to have a recovery tank. There is no room for expansion air in a crossflow, if you want to use all the cores, so the coolent needs to be sucked back into the radiator after it cools.
