I don't recall seeing any 61-64 original restored cars with a GLOSS radiator. I'm going for the SATIN. Rick

I would've bet a million bucks they were satin like most everything else under the hood. Maybe the gloss they used just lost it's sheen and made them look like everything else after a time. The others sitting around the radiator shop waiting to be picked up were all gloss black. I was just afraid they'd put some cheap paint on it and it would tend to flake after a while. You wouldn't happen to know a good place to buy a new fan clutch that doesn't look like it supposed to be on a tractor do you? Mine acts ok but I don't trust it with almost $500 worth of new radiator sitting in front of it. Rick

(Autozone) It holds up extremely well. Whichever paint you use, just use a light coat over the cooling fins. To much paint there will restrict heat dissipation.

I can run to Autozone and be back in a few minutes. I think I'll pick up a can and give it a try. Rick
