I thought oem was 1.3 on the 12?
I have an Outlaw 1.6 on mine. (purchased from Schnitz)
increasing the pressure of a cooling system increases the boiling temp. once coolant starts to boil, its ability to remove heat from the motor is seriously decreased and temps spike way higher. this can result in serious damage if the motor is not shut down. having a higher boiling temp is good for those of us pushing the limits. the coolant can get hotter, and have the ability to recover where as a stock pressure system would be out of control
