New radiator installation in a 1997 Ford Contour 2.0L 4Cyl.?

Khaled Z Asked: New radiator installation in a 1997 Ford Contour 2.0L 4Cyl.?

I have radiator problems in my 1997 Ford Contour 2.0L so I had to replace it. In the new radiator; the outlet header (on the left when you face the car) which contains the gear oil cooling coil – this header has a vent nozzle at its top corner. It turned to me that this nozzle was out of service in my old radiator (It was broken and filled in by plastic welding!!!). When the technician installed the new radiator; he had to install a Tee at the return hose (between the thermostat housing and the water plastic tank) and connected it to this nozzle at the top of radiator header. My question is: Was that a correct installation?. So many people experts in Ford maintenance examined the car's cooling system and radiator before, no body had commented on the out of service nozzle! that what's putting me in doubt!! the guy who made this work is not a ford expert. Please help.
