I have an 88 Corolla manual. I want to replace the radiator. I have an 86 Corolla automatic for spare parts. The only noticeable difference is that the 86 radiator has two small pipes down the bottom (I’m just assuming this has something to do with air conditioning or transmission or something but am not sure) while the 88 radiator which I want to replace has no hoses on the bottom.
My two questions are: What are those hoses for? And
Can I just swap the radiator over and just pull those two bottom hoses without the need to block them off considering they aren’t connected to the water system.
