I guess I have been an oddity, I have heard this for years and I know it's common. Out of 8 S cars, I have only had one bust a radiator, it cracked on the end tank which seems to be typical. Maybe it's more common in Northern climates? I replaced the busted one with a rad from the junkyard about three years ago and it's still running okay lol. If I ever do something more with this wagon or rebuild another coupe, I will go with an AMR or something though.
