DefaultRadiator leak - grrr - what vendor - what about alum?

Got home from a vacation to find a pancake-sized spot of coolant under the radiator. Just venting that this crap always seems to happen when it's 20 degrees outside instead of 70. Any consensus on best source of radiator? Any thoughts on an aluminum one and overflow bottle instead of the stock rad?

Only aluminum option is from Zionsville and it costs $950.

I've bought 2 off the recommended ebay seller and both have leaked now. First one leaked at the temp sensor insert and the 2nd leaks at the bottom of the expansion tank.

You can do a DNA motoring radiator with a 6cylinder bottle on the side like i was going to do, or you if you are running a stock m44 just go oem radiator.

I am working to get set up with Fluidyne. They have a 3 core radiator for the E36 6 cylinder. I have a Fluidyne in my Z3 and I love it. It is made in the USA and seam welded... not seam sealed like the cheap aluminum radiators.

For the 4 cylinders I would recommend OEM Behr replacements (which I also carry) every 60k-75k miles. They come with expansion tanks and replacing them before they leak will keep you in charge of your cooling system... not the other way around.
