This is one of those times when I thank my lucky stars for having access to Apartment Therapy readers. I've got issues! The clunky old radiator is my home office is leaking. And because having actual repairs done could take a while, I need to learn how to stop the flow of water fast.
I closed the valve completely, which has slowed the leak significantly but not stopped it. I've also put down some towels and water-collecting devices to protect the damaged hardwood floor.
Have you ever faced a leaky radiator with your bare hands and lived to talk about it? If so, please tell me what you did to fix the problem!
