This is a clip from the aborigine-produced Australian show Bush Mechanics. Combining the long distances of the Outback, its desert-facilitated, long-lasting, simple old cars, and a propensity for litter on the side of the road, the Bush mechanics manage to fix their radiator by melting a lead-acid battery over a hubcap to seal the crack.
It’s definitely not EPA-approved, but it’s funny, it’s indigenous media, and its genuinely insightful as to how people actually use cars in the real world. That and it’s about ten thousand times more interesting than whatever new video is coming out of supercar XYZ driving sideways with some dramatic music in the background.
